"On the Road-Episode 3-Part 1"

We look into the intense, calculated process of how to name a new song while on the road on your tour

"....Until the Next Time...."

In 2012, A.M. Session had plans for a new album and extensive tour; but, like many aspects of life, things happen that are out of our control.  So, it is with a heavy heart, that we will sadly be planning our "farewell" show to take place on Saturday, February 25th.  Ben Nichalson, drummer, bandmate, and BROTHER will depart the band in early March for future endeavors.  Ben has been with the band for over 3 years, and his contributions and hard work has been second to none.  We could not have asked a band member to be more professional, more prepared, more selfless, and more driven than what we found in Ben.  His work ethic was infectious through the band and forced each one of us to pick up our "game" just to keep up with him.  Not only could we depend on him as a bandmate and fellow warrior on the road, but we rely on him as family.  After much discussion and reflection, we have decided that we will not continue on as A.M. Session.  The music chemistry we have made with each other cannot be replaced.  We feel it would be a great injustice to the music and each other if we tried to pretend that it could be.

With that said, we will be playing our final show at "Centerstaging" in Burbank, CA.  This venue facilitates rehearsals and showcases for major acts such as:  Mick Jagger, Prince, Dave Matthews Band, Gorillaz, Michael Jackson, and many more before they go on a major tour.  We will be performing a full, FREE concert starting at 8pm on Saturday, February 25th. So please mark your calendars, we'd like this band to go out with a bang and not a whimper!!!  We also will have 2 gigs at Stubrik's in Fullerton in preparation for the final show.  These gigs will take place on 1/28 and 2/10.  In closing, we'd like to thank everyone who has supported A.M. Session from day 1.  There are too many to name and we are forever grateful for your support and love throughout the years.  None of what we have accomplished would've possible without you.

Thank you,

Bobby, Ben, Garett, and Jeff......

New Review of Conversations at Midnight from Babysue.com

Babysue.com based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee took the time to write a short review of Conversations at Midnight, here's what they had to say:

Conversations at Midnight (Independently released CD, Pop/rock)
This CD arrived in our trusty post office box inside a very plain envelope with no accompanying materials trying to sell us on the artist or the music. Probably the
perfect marketing approach because the folks in AM Session don't need schmaltzy hype or phony promotional materials in order to sell folks on their music. The band is based in West Hollywood, California...but don't let that scare you off. Instead of phony sounding pop these guys write and record surprisingly real music that has true heart and soul. The band is comprised of Bobby Greiert (vocals, guitar, saxophone), Garett Sakahara (piano, rhodes, organs), Ben Nichalson (drums, electronic percussion), and Jeff Weissman (guitar). In the 1990s this band would have been immediately embraced by practically every FM radio station in the country. Now in the twenty-first century...it'll be interesting to see if these guys receive the attention they deserve. They've got the tunes, the skills, and the talent to be superstars. Groovy hummable cuts include "Evidence," "Katie," and "Burning The Hours."
